InterGlobal Forest OverviewFibrabel MR FR NAF is a high density MDF panel with a hard, fine and smoothly sanded surface.
The panel is barely flammable (Euroclass B and ASTM E84 Class 1/Class A certified), has a noticeably delayed fire retardation, low smoke development, and does not contribute to the spreading of flames.
The panel is B-s1-d0 (EN 13501-1) certified for all available thicknesses (12 - 25 mm).
Fibrabel MR FR NAF is not only a fire retardant but also a moisture resistant MDF panel.
In humid conditions, the panel retains its mechanical strength and will expand and swell less due to its moisture-resistant adhesive.
In addition, Fibrabel MR FR NAF is characterized by extremely low formaldehyde emissions (no added formaldehyde-based resins) and is CARB NAF certified.
These features make the board unique on the market and is therefore the only MDF board that fits every room.
On request, this MDF panel can be supplied with a PEFC or FSC Mixed Credit certificate.

MDF Fibrabel MR FR NAF is suitable for industrial processing, interior decoration and furniture production. The board can be lacquered or finished with paper, foil, melamine, veneer or high pressure laminate.
The combination of fire retardant products and the no-added formaldehyde resin may in exceptional cases affect certain glues or paints. Always perform a test before use.
MDF Fibrabel MR FR NAF can be used in applications where MDF panels with a reduced fire reaction, flame spread and smoke development are requested (such as finishing of stairway halls, escape routes or lift shafts in public buildings such as hospitals, airports, retirement homes, theatres, hotels, etc...). MDF Fibrabel MR FR NAF can also be used as part of a building element or system that is aimed at having an increased fire resistance, such as fire doors, ceiling systems or partition walls. The fire resistance certification of such elements or buildings systems in line with local regulations is the responsibility of its producer.
